Buddy & the Flashbacks Live Concert and Baked Potato Dinner

Join us for a nostalgic evening of rock 'n' roll on September 13th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Canton.

Enjoy a live concert featuring Buddy & the Flashbacks performing classic hits from the 50s and 60s.

Savor a delicious baked potato dinner to complement the evening's entertainment.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Join us for an unforgettable 4th of July celebration in Canton, Texas! Our festivities kick off with a special Time Capsule Dedication Ceremony at City Hall at 9:30 am. Following the dedication, head over to Downtown Canton for our fun-filled Watermelon Eating Contest at 10:00 am.

The highlight of the day, our annual 4th of July Parade, begins at 10:30 am. The parade route starts at the South Gate of First Monday Trade Days (across from Hall Chevrolet), travels towards downtown, and then turns south onto Buffalo St., concluding at Canton Junior High. Enjoy your 4th of July day and then come out for the Firework Show happening after dark on the west side of the First Monday Grounds.

Has your child ever wondered what it’s like to be a firefighter? Our Junior Firefighter Camp gives kids ages 7-12 the opportunity to learn basic fire fighting, fire prevention, safety, first aid, and so much more! What makes this camp even better? Proceeds benefit the Van Zandt First Responders Fund, a nonprofit created by Silver Spur Resort.
